Domestic Violence Treatment (BIP)

The topics taught are a great opportunity to learn so much about oneself and others. It's a wonderful resource to learn much healthier coping skills despite a participant's past. Our program includes an assessment, orientation, and 24 weekly group sessions. Mended Hearts Counseling BIP uses the Family Peace Initiative curriculum which covers the following topics: · Adverse Childhood Experiences and Resiliency Factors · The River of Cruelty · Integrity and Accountability · The Shadow Message · The Golden Shadow Message · Negotiation and Fairness · Trust and Partnership · Parenting with Respect · Sexual Respect · Battering Motive · Guilt and Shame
