I support adults and teens experiencing anxiety/worry, low self-confidence, depression, grief/loss, and life transitions. My approach is integrative, but mainly relational and psychodynamic, and embraces multicultural and trauma-informed practices. I'm especially passionate about helping people who have served as the emotional caregivers, the "glue," and/or the wallflowers within their families or in past relationships. Whether you're looking to deepen your self understanding or learn tools to create meaningful change, you deserve a space for you to be your whole self - free from judgment.
In my office, you can expect depth, softness, honesty, and curiosity. I'm trained in evidence-based practices, but I tailor my approach to be collaborative towards your goals. Sessions together are full of non-judgmental conversation, humor and playfulness, practical behavioral tools, and mind-body practices.
I received my M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California, and completed my internship at Children's Institute working with families around Los Angeles. I have also worked at the National Institutes of Health conducting research on disordered eating patterns. I'm available for Zoom sessions throughout CA.
