My approach is considerably different from standard talk therapy. While I have 20+ years of experience in various modalities, I find the deepest and longest-lasting transformations occur when mind and body are both engaged. I draw primarily from Core Energetics, a somatic (body) psychotherapy for this unified approach. I use movement and mindfulness techniques to reduce unpleasant symptoms, increase self-awareness, and resolve past hurts or traumas.
I specialize in adult psychotherapy, both in individual and group sessions. I have experience with issues including childhood or adult traumas, depression, anxiety, addiction & recovery, relationship issues, parenting, twin issues, psychosis, spiritual issues, and grief to name a few.
