I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. For the past twenty years, I have provided treatment in diverse clinical settings. During 2020, I became a Clinically Certified Trauma Professional to help the world understand that trauma can be followed by healing and resilience when effective treatment is sought. I am honored to have gained speciality within this area as well as with other conditions that include: anxiety, depression, dependence patterns, grief and loss, and other concerns stemming from neurology or life occurrences.
My education and life experiences, allow me to bring a wealth of fresh ideas and varying perspectives to my clients. My treatment approach is collaborative, supportive, creative, and strength based while striving to create a warm and accepting environment.
It takes courage to reach out, to share your story, and to allow yourself to be vulnerable in an effort to grow and prosper. With therapy, this strength is often followed by a deeper understanding of one’s fears, pain, frustration, as well as how to navigate a new path. Congratulations on taking this initial step. I wish you the best in your journey.
