I partner with you to identify the changes you want to make and understand the beliefs and stories that maintain the issues and problems you hope to change. I will actively participate in your therapy by asking exploratory questions, using empathic listening, and gently and lovingly holding up the mirror so you can become increasingly aware and accepting of yourself.
Therapy with me is grounded in the narrative worldview. I collaborate with you as a co-author to navigate and re-narrate your life stories. This approach empowers you to deconstruct grand narratives and taken-for-granted ideas, fostering liberation and reclaiming your agency.
I bring all of my experiences as a human and my training to approach my work and my clinical practice in a person-respectful, trauma-informed, sex-positive, culturally-humble way.
