You've spent much of your life doing the things that you "should," so you wonder, "why don't I feel happier?" People may see you as "put together" and accomplished from the outside, but inside, you feel numb, chaotic, anxious, or even broken. I help people who've been through traumatic experiences feel in charge of their lives again without being held back by painful memories from the past. If you feel angry, stressed, depressed, guilty, or self-loathing, I want you to know that there is a way through this to a meaningful and happy life.

How do you know if your sexual behavior is out of control? It's a subjective question that many men unfortunately wait until relationship, occupational or medical consequences accumulate before considering. I believe the most important person to evaluate concerns with regulating sexual behavior is the man experiencing the dilemma. I start with two basic questions: "What is your conflict with your sexual behavior?" and "What is your vision for your sexual health?" Since 2001, I have provided a safe, informed and confidential space for sexual health conversations with heterosexual, gay and bisexual men.

A number of things can get in the way of us having the life that we want. My role in therapy is to help clients think through strategies to better enable themselves to navigate the transitions and the difficult circumstances they encounter to ultimately become the person they want to be. Therapy is about living an authentic life by taking action on the things that matter most to us, living in the direction of what we see as valuable, and engaging fully in what we do. Let me help you become "unstuck" from old patterns and develop the tools to live a more satisfying life. You do not have to figure this out on your own.

If you're looking for a therapist, there's a good chance you feel like "something" in your life isn't working -- perhaps within yourself, a relationship, or your career. Sometimes it's hard to know what that "something" is, and, other times, the feeling may be directly connected to a specific event, relationship, or personality trait. As your therapist, I will work with you at a pace that feels manageable, and together we will reflect on what feels like it's not working and identify possibilities that may bring relief or change.
