My goal as a therapist is to be able to help guide the changes for individuals, by providing them with the tools and support they will need to be successful when they move on from receiving my services. My desire is to help people make life changes that they desire for themselves. There is no one who knows you better, than yourself, that's why you are the pilot and I am your co- pilot of your journey.

Therapy is a unique experience for each person. It helps you learn yourself, your relationships (past and present), and how you interact with the world. It is a place of self healing and understanding. It is a place to find safety and refuge to manage stress, anger, guilt, anxiety, overwhelming feelings, trauma, interpersonal conflict, and significant life events. I work with youth and adults to help address these issues. I am trained as a psychodynamic therapist, practicing from a relational standpoint. I use several clinical approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theory, and trauma focused therapy as needed.

The clients I like to focus on are people that have challenges with executive functioning, anxiety and depression. I want to help people to identify the past challenges or traumatic experiences that could be causing disruption in their lives, so that they can address it because awareness of the origin of an issue is half the battle. A lot of the habits that we do are signs and symptoms of adverse experiences that worked in one point of our lives, but now could be problematic. My goal is to provide a safe space for openness and expression to be heard while I guide you to your goal of being healed using a trauma informed approach.
