Hello, my name is Dawn Martin and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 12 years of experience. I have earned my master's degree in counseling and a master's degree in business I am a certified mediator for the state of Arkansas and a published author and combat veteran. I am a brain-based trauma trained therapist who is educated in and practices Brainspotting.
I specialize in working with adults, adolescents, and couples of various ages, genders, and backgrounds. I have experience working non a wide range of issues including trauma of all types, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and adjustments to life stressors.
I approach therapy with a trauma-informed mentality and use an integrative model of counseling that relies on person-centered and strength based perspective to target each individual's specific needs with empathy and unconditional positive regard. I am a radically genuine therapist who shoots it straight and I come from a caring and validating place.
