I am a licensed clinical social worker with a private practice in Avon, CT, convenient to West Hartford, Simsbury, Canton and surrounding areas. I work with adults, teens, couples and families, to help them feel better in their lives, their relationships and about themselves. I offer you a place to heal, grow and create new patterns of thinking and behavior; an opportunity to sort through issues in life that feel cumbersome and to find a path toward wellness. Common issues include life adjustments, self-esteem/relationships, depression/anxiety, family challenges, grief and loss, food/weight/body concerns and resolving trauma.
I have over 20 years experience. Throughout my career, I've worked in clinic, hospital, in-home and day treatment settings. I believe in treating the WHOLE person, often collaborating with other health professionals to incorporate nutrition and mind-body wellness techniques. I use CBT & DBT, among other modalities, tailoring treatment to each client's needs.
My practice is rooted in a deep respect and compassion for the individuality of each person and their unique life experiences. My aim is to help you realize your full potential.
