Offering Therapy-ish Consultations: solution-oriented conversations focusing on tools, strategies and resources. Great for people who are unsure about the need for ongoing therapy, Consultations provide practical guidance to handle problems and stressors in your relationships, work, health and overall well-being. I lightheartedly describe my Consultations as Therapy-ish, because they have therapeutic qualities like psychotherapy, while being distinct from therapy itself. This unique approach to professional support and guidance provides an option for those whom the focus and framework of therapy might not be a fit.
Consultations are standalone sessions, scheduled one-at-a-time on an as-needed basis, available when you need them (usually within a few days). These can be one-time sessions, but you're welcome to schedule additional Consultations on your own timeline and at your own convenience. They're held via phone or video and offered to people in Maine only.
Some people have just one session, others have a few in a row on a short-term basis, and others have them periodically on their own timeline.
