Dr. Tessler is a clinical psychologist who has developed an expertise in conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations. Unlike most clinicians, my practice focuses exclusively on providing highly individualized assessments to children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Tessler has over 10 years of experience evaluating children with a wide variety of issues including but not limited to developmental disabilities, children with ADHD and learning disabilities, as well as emotional disorders such as depression and anxiety.
Dr. Tessler personally administers and scores the tests, interprets the results, and provides a comprehensive yet individualized report tailored to your child's learning strengths and needs. He also meets with schools to ensure that the student receives the accommodations and supports necessary to be successful.
Psychological evaluations provide a variety of important information including diagnostic information, identification of learning style, including cognitive strengths and weaknesses, and recommendations for treatment and intervention.
