I trained as a generalist clinical psychologist providing treatment across the lifespan, from adolescence through adulthood. My theoretical orientation is integrative, rooted in psychodynamic traditions, but also incorporating cognitive-behavioral as well as evidence-based approaches to address particular problems.
I am primarily a working clinician, but have also taught classes at Sarah Lawrence College since 2013. I formerly held institutional and teaching posts within the Comprehensive HIV Center of Mount Sinai Medical Center in the West Village and Saint Vincent's Hospital.
Prior to my doctorate training I worked as a licensed chemical dependency counselor. I continue to work with those who abuse substances with a psychologically informed perspective.
