I work with adults and older adolescents seeking help with a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, academic and work-related problems, relationship and family dynamics, and concerns around sexuality and gender. I take a highly individualized approach, aiming to create a collaborative space to learn about a client on their own terms—their history, challenges, and hopes. I draw on 18 years of experience as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, researcher, and educator. I have found over time that building a trusting and reflective clinical relationship is essential for meaningful and impactful psychotherapy.
I often work with creative and analytic people who want to understand themselves and their relationships with greater depth and flexibility, and who want to move beyond older protective patterns and symptoms that have become obstacles. I work to help people to regain openness to learning, connection, and change.
