I am a compassionate & client-centered clinician whose passion for equity, social justice, & overall mental well-being is rooted in the firm belief that ALL people, regardless of race, class, gender identity, sexual orientation, etc. are worthy & deserving of the freedom to live, whole heartedly as their true & genuine selves. My primary specialties are in the areas of complex & single-incident trauma, general relationship issues, & difficulties managing the challenges of life transitions & every day stressors. I use a variety of modalities based on your individual needs & together we will discover the key to your emotional healing.
My approach as a therapist leans away from the pathologizing medical model of mental-health "treatment" & towards one that emphasizes the resiliency & internal strengths that enable us to heal & overcome adversity. I believe in walking along-side & not in front of my clients to achieve the best outcomes & empower them to become their own agents of change.
