It’s well-accepted that life can be challenging or even overwhelming. With a hopeful and positive outlook on change, my practice can provide you with helpful support and guidance to help you manage and overcome challenging situations including relationship issues, work, and academic challenges, the loss of a loved one, and how to make conscious and positive changes in your life. I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and goals within a collaborative process where you are placed at the center of treatment.
My practice draws on a range of therapeutic approaches with a focus on helping you develop a sense of safety and control, trust in others, personal self-awareness, effective coping skills, and positive self-efficacy. I use CBT, CPT, DBT, and mindfulness strategies to help you challenge discomfort and overcome whatever is getting in the way of happiness.
Guiding my practice with person-centered and trauma-informed care, I can assist you in developing your unique journey toward recovery and healing. My clients are mostly adults interested in recovery from generalized anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, depression, psychosis, and mood disorders. I am a graduate of the New York University Silver School of Social Work.
