My therapeutic style and approach are a good fit for young adults, individuals, and couples who may be struggling with the challenges of life, mental health well-being, and relational/marital issues for couples. I put much effort into helping my clients navigate through these difficult chapters and build skills to allow them to feel better about themselves and develop a more positive outlook on life.
My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. I usually use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Client-Centered Therapy, as both modalities help the client and I have a shared understanding and approach to the client's treatment goals.
What my clients can expect in our first session together is for us to spend the majority of our time talking about how clients got to where they're at in their lives. I will be asking questions to better understand where my clients are coming from in all aspects, and the first session is all about building the initial connection.
