Therapy can help. It is clear to me in my work, and in my own life, that once we start paying attention to our pain, we can do something about it. I have been practicing as a therapist in the Asheville area since 2010 and have been an Addictions Specialist for the past six years. I believe in using evidence based approaches in my work, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I incorporate Internal Family Systems theory into trauma work.
