I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 29 years of experience in the mental health field. I believe that the most important aspect of therapy is the connection with the client. Because of this, I strive to create a therapeutic atmosphere based on trust, care, respect, and humor. I believe being genuine and real with clients is vital in the helping process.

I completed my Master of Social Work degree (MSW) at Virginia Commonwealth University in 1999. I have been licensed in Virginia and am currently licensed to practice in North Carolina and Missouri. I bring a client-centered approach to therapy and aim to have a meaningful conversation with my clients about the issues that bring them to therapy.

Life is hard. We all struggle with difficulties, seeing them through the lens of our own thoughts, beliefs, and experiences. We all need help sometimes. I believe I can walk with you as you address life’s challenges and help you develop strategies and skills to cope with those difficulties.
