Therapy is a journey of trust, hope, healing and change. Whether you are dealing with life disappointments, change, depression, anxiety, or any other emotional disturbance, I can help you find and maintain recovery. With over 3o years of experience in the mental health profession, I have witnessed client recovery from addictions of all kinds, as well as emotional challenges of all kinds by incorporating a refreshing blend of therapies with a biblical worldview. My goal is to aid clients in experiencing grace and transformation by learning how to let go of performance-based thinking.
I combine my knowledge of neuroscience and my Christian worldview in therapy called Focus-Choice therapy, which draws on spiritual principles and neuroscientific discoveries to bring the client peace and freedom from performance-based thinking . The focus is on the clients sensory self, and not in changing cognitive patterns alone.
This is a sensory based therapy, which encourages the client to change their focus away from their problem and instead focus their five senses on God's transformational power. This sensory-focus change takes the pressure off of the client to perform and from potentially experiencing more frustration and disappointment.
