My interest and involvement with counseling and human development has been life-long. I earned a Masters of Counseling from Arizona State University (2011) and have completed a number of other professional training programs (current and continuing). My approach is goal-oriented and practical to what my clients bring, using various modalities, including biographical work, cognitive-behavioral techniques, trauma-focused therapies, family/systems and brief/focused therapy. I've completed several modules of hypnotherapy training via the Milton H.
Helping them find more meaningful ways of coping is deeply satisfying for me. I believe it is possible for everyone to access hidden resources within that can help to move us in the direction of positive change.
I believe that deep inside us, we all want to be healthy and that we all want to live lives that are constructive and satisfying, both for our own personal growth and for our relationships with others. I believe, as a wise philosopher once said 'If on some day, we find no miracle in our life, we have merely overlooked it.'
