As a clinical neuropsychologist I work with clients to identify areas of cognitive strength and weakness and relate those patterns to known profiles of brain-behavior relationship. The process involves an interview, collateral contacts, and carefully selected standardized assessment of brain and emotional functioning. A neuropsychological evaluation may help identify dementia, direct therapies after traumatic brain injury, or tease out ADHD from learning disorder and other developmental conditions.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, including Adult ADD, is an area of particular interest for me, and a focus of my practice. In addition to my clinical work, I teach professional education workshops across the U.S. and Australia. I also provide parent-friendly workshops and Adult ADD bootcamps.
