I specialize in treating an unrecognized condition in mental health: trauma. If you suffer from chronic depression or anxiety, undiagnosed trauma might be the reason why previous therapy has not worked for you. I will show you how to overcome the exhausting struggle with negative thoughts and feelings, enabling you to thrive, not just survive. I will also work with you to establish and achieve treatment goals that matter to you. My favorite treatment model is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), but I have others based on your preferences and needs.
I specialize in treating PTSD, but I also treat a lot of anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. Please do not worry about being too complicated for me. I like a challenge! I also provide couples therapy, particularly when trauma is an issue in the relationship.
