The Coronavirus Pandemic has created a collective trauma. There can be some comfort in knowing that everyone is making sacrifices in this new uncharted world; however, each person’s experience is unique. Often there are unexpected ups and downs in coping that can be surprising and catch us off guard. I specialize in working with clients facing issues of trauma. I have always been fascinated in how the mind naturally creates coping strategies to help get us through tough situations in its drive towards survival. Sometimes these strategies are helpful, but other times they can hinder us from living life to its fullest.
I am in awe of the strength and beauty of the human spirit. For me it is an honor to build a trusting relationship with each client so that we can navigate a path towards a more peaceful life. Although currently I am not meeting with clients in person, I have availability via confidential HIPAA compliant video or phone to meet for therapy sessions.
Participating in therapy from the comfort of home can provide a sense of safety and comfort which many clients enjoy. I work with a wonderful billing department, and I’m happy to help navigate your insurance prior to our meeting. I want to do anything I can to alleviate stress for anyone struggling through a tough time.
