I believe that individuals are the experts of their own lives and that therapy must be tailored to fit each client’s unique needs. Sessions with me include letting clients take the direction on how our sessions will go, and providing support that aligns with where clients are at in their journey.
As a clinician and client myself, I understand that therapy can be a very vulnerable and intimidating place for many people. In my practice, I approach clients with an honest, direct, and casual conversation style in order to alleviate feelings of intimidation and build rapport.
