Raising Emotionally Intelligent Children and Youth

This thee-session class teaches parents key concepts and skills to help work with their older children's and teen's (8 to 18) deep and troubled emotions in a way the helps them become more emotionally intelligent and resilient. This class gives parents the skills to give their children the priceless gift of developing the lifelong ability to work through their troubled feelings effectively and healthily.

A four-session parenting class series that teaches parents of young children (3 through 12) to employ the power of child's play to help their children express and work through their deep and troubled feelings at home. Parents learn how to set up and facilitate short child-led play sessions with their children by creating a safe environment for them to express their feelings with their parents through play and using a prescribed selection of toys that will be taught in the class.

Emotional Support Groups for Youth and Adults

Emotional Freedom Counseling offers support and treatment groups for children, youth, and adults to promote greater emotional health and resilience; groups include: 1) TEEN EMOTIONAL SUPPORT GROUP (helps teens express and work through their troubled feelings in healthier ways, increase peer support, and boost self-esteem); 2) PARENT SUPPPORT GROUP (helps parents discuss parenting issues and challenges, get encouragement from other parents, and gain expert tips from skilled therapists); 3) DIVORCED ADULT SUPPORT GROUP (helps adults with painful divorce experiences to heal from hurt feelings, rebuild positive self-esteem, and regain greater peace in their lives and families).
