My name is Dara D’Elia, I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have experience working with a diverse population starting at 6 years old up to adulthood, all coming from diverse backgrounds and situations which include trauma, crisis, anxiety, depression, grief and loss.
I like to take a client centered approach, to keep therapy comfortable and positive. Accepting that you need help and seeking out a professional is a huge step, I want to honor this time and space to support you through your healing journey and create a space that encourages growth and acceptance.
It’s important to me that each client feels heard and appreciated in a trusting and comfortable environment. I strive to gain each clients trust and help them feel comfortable with sharing the most vulnerable pieces of themselves. My ultimate goal is to create a safe space that allows for healing past trauma and nurturing present growth.
