I love this quote from Dr. Louis Tinnin and Dr. Linda Gannt, Co-Founders of Instinctual Trauma Response Method: "Of all the mental health issues, the ones related to trauma are the most treatable." I hold this same belief and enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples, and first responders that are experiencing symptoms of traumatic stress (anxiety, depression, communication difficulties, uncomfortable body sensations, etc.). Traumatic stress is an injury that can be healed & effective therapy does not require you to relive past experiences.
I am a Certified Therapist & Instructor in the Instinctual Trauma Response (ITR) Method, & a certified EMDR Therapist; both methods are game-changers in the field of traumatology. I use Art & Parts informed interventions that greatly reduce or eliminate traumatic stress symptoms to improve resilience/wellbeing. I am also trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy.

I then provide psycho education regarding traumatic stress, basic neuroscience of trauma, and introduction to Parts work. Once this prep work is completed, then we begin trauma processing. Therapy sessions can be hourly or intensive (90 minutes or more).
