I work with adolescents and adults who are struggling with severe anxiety and depression, disordered eating, life transitions, and trauma. I help clients move from feelings of guilt, shame, and loneliness, to feeling confident, self-assured, able to access grace for themselves while engaging in a more fulfilling life. I enjoy working with new and expecting moms in the pre and postnatal stages and I specialize in working with couples with parenting concerns, high conflict, infidelity, and sexual issues/concerns.
After 10 years in business leadership, I shifted careers to the counseling field. My personal transition has given me both a passion and a gift for coaching individuals who are also considering a career change.
I provide a warm, humorous, and direct approach to therapy, and I collaborate with clients to determine what might work best for them in counseling. I understand the challenges of seeking out therapy and finding the “right fit” in a therapist, therefore, I strive to provide a warm and welcoming space where everyone feels safe, comfortable, seen, and valued.
