I work with individuals feeling anxiety or depression in regard to their relationships and careers. Making choices is difficult at all stages of life for fear of "getting it wrong." With insight and modification, we can make choices with confidence. When it comes to personal and occupational relationships, we may struggle with communication, boundaries, setting limits, and voicing needs. I help my clients improve in these areas. We thoroughly evaluate communication and conflicts with others to improve effectiveness, self esteem, and esteem from others in personal relationships and at work.
My training is in psychodynamic and cognitive behvioral therapy. My past employment and research has been in parent-infant attachment, personality disorders, and post traumatic stress disorder. I have a strong understanding of how parenting, personality, trauma, and other challenges shape one's life choices.
I help individuals and couples to live authentic, goal-directed lives. My practice focuses on helping clients to know themselves and their patterns, and to understand and best communicate with others. I help clients to handle life's challenges effectively by making choices that will lead to positive connection and satisfaction.
