I have a history of working with trauma, couples, adolescents, ADHD and substance use disorders. I work hard at empowering clients to move past struggles that hold them back and to find a sense of agency and purpose. I use a variety of different therapies and techniques including EMDR, somatic therapies, trauma informed treatment and CBT to name a few of the modalities I offer to clients.
I have worked extensively with trauma and I utilize EMDR and other exposure therapies as well as other supports. I have worked with clients and their families struggling with substance use for decades. I also work with couples utilizing EFT and other therapeutic tools as well as helping people manage ADHD, depression and anxiety.
I lean toward supporting people holistically. I believe that therapy is meant to treat the whole person. Together we work on mental, social, health and relationship factors that impact each person's life on a daily basis rather than just symptoms of unrest.
