I utilize a collaborative person-centered perspective that recognizes your expertise in your life. My practice is based upon use of mindfulness, narrative, cognitive and behavioral techniques to improve function in daily life. All of the work that I do is rooted in empathy and I am passionate about assisting clients through work, home and family stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, disability, grief and other life transitions. I have 10 years of experience as a social worker assisting those with chronic mental health struggles and 3 years providing therapy to adults experiencing challenging life stressors, loss, medical illness and other mental health diagnoses. No matter what life stage you are in, therapy can help you cope and learn to thrive.
As a grounded and positive therapist, I will be there with you as we safely explore your experiences, patterns and fears for how they might be limiting your life in the here and now.
