Danielle L. Spain, MA, LMFT. Exploring self-determination for people with co-occurring disorders and recovery from addiction is my area of expertise. I have worked in and around the field of addiction for over 20 years and have worked with a large cross-section of people who have suffered as a result of their addiction or the addiction of someone they love. I received my training in the culturally rich landscape of Hawaii Island. I have extensive training in trauma-informed treatment with people suffering from co-occurring disorders.
I have a deep passion for helping people find their authentic selves and identifying their personal barriers to change. I have worked with multi-generational trauma and witnessed individuals return to their personal and collective power.
All addiction-related maladjustments, whether the client is the addict or the client loves an addict, I have a long history of helping clients find what they need to grow and heal. I have helped many heal from trauma in childhood or multi-generational trauma cycles they are working on breaking.
