Children need a safe space to express themselves and navigate their emotions. Together, we work towards developing coping strategies, fostering resilience, and enriching their emotional well-being. My goal is to empower them to overcome challenges and thrive, equipping them with the tools they need to navigate life's complexities confidently. Through play therapy, I facilitate a nurturing environment where children feel understood, supported, and encouraged to explore their feelings at their own pace.
I specialize in assisting children in understanding and coping with emotions such as anxiety, depression, grief, and school-related struggles. I utilize an integrative approach, drawing from CBT and play therapy techniques. Additionally, I incorporate the support of my therapy dog, Remi, to facilitate a comforting atmosphere for growth and healing.
My office is tailored specially for children. It's vibrant and inviting, filled with toys, games, and art supplies that spark curiosity and creativity. The office is easy to locate on Sand Hill Road, behind the Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
