The world we live in today can be overwhelming and isolating. I believe seeking out support and connection through counseling takes tremendous strength and courage. During our time together, I aim to create a counseling environment where you feel safe, accepted, and empowered. My goal is to work together to identify unhelpful patterns and work towards reaching your goals, all while embracing your authentic self. You can anticipate a holistic and individualized approach to meet your unique needs. My approach is also client-led and strength-based, with a focus on the mind-body connection.
I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families who may be experiencing life transitions, interpersonal distress, stress, depression, or anxiety. Previously being a teacher, I also have experience working with children and their families. I welcome all sexual orientations, gender expressions, backgrounds, and relationship styles.
While therapy can be hard work, I also believe that it does not have to be serious all of the time. You can expect grace, humor, and moments of lightness sprinkled into our time together.
