Groups
LGBTQ+ Support Group (Ages 18-25)
This LGBTQ+ support group targets individuals ages 18-25, or "emerging adults." This is a time when identity, independence, and "adulting" become challenging for most. For LGBTQ+ folks, it can be helpful to find additional community to support you through life's transitions. The group is run by Dr. Hernandez who will offer insight, encourage development, and does so with a balance of gentleness and "real talk." She is currently seeking participants to join the once weekly summer session, held virtually. Investment is $60 per person. Scholarships available for BIPOC folks.

Parenting LGBTQ+ Children and Teens
Parenting children and teens today is a challenge. Having a child come out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, nonbinary, or queer can add additional stress on you, as a parent. Maybe you have questions that you are too afraid to ask. Perhaps you are having trouble navigating your child's gender healthcare in the current political climate. No matter what you need, we create a welcoming environment where parents can learn from and support eachother, as well as ask any questions they have without judgment. Dr. Hernandez specialized in work with LGBTQ+ youth and their parents and welcomes you warmly!
