Have past traumas taken over your identity and quashed your joy? I have 15 years experience serving survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crimes. I would be honored to walk you through the process of healing and understanding. Guiding you to a deeper understanding of what you experienced, and how it impacts the human brain, body, and spirit. You are having a normal human reaction to an abnormal experience.
I provide a safe space where your story can be witnessed without judgment. A safe space where you can feel the pain and be guided safely to the other side of it. On the other side is where I believe your renewed spirit can be found. I work from a Client-Centered,Trauma-Focused approach, and I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR can address past trauma as well as future based fear/anxiety. Faith & spirituality of all kinds are always welcome. However, as a Christian I am able to guide your spiritual growth from a Christian perspective and incorporate those beliefs and practices into the session, when desired.
