Through depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, transitions, and painful events we can typically feel lost, hopeless, and out of touch with ourselves. However, the goal isn't to ignore or bypass our obstacles, but rather learn how to manage these stressors in a way that promotes greater healing and resiliency. Giving ourselves the space to process and express the roses and thorns of life and learn new skills along the way. There is no fast track to the healing process, and we owe it to ourselves to create space and be patient with ourselves– knowing that sustainable consistent results take time.
Amidst challenges in life, it’s easy to get lost in the fog of our obstacles. That's why I believe (and promote) a holistic approach to psychotherapy. I incorporate creativity, evidence-based practices, and mindfulness in sessions. I provide a validating and welcoming environment, while helping you recognize your inner strength.
