I have 10+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I am passionate about creating an empowering and culturally sensitive therapeutic environment for every person I work with. I completed my MSW at CSU Sacramento and received my master level training from the UC Davis Children’s Hospital, CAARE Diagnostic and Treatment Center, where I had the opportunity to provide therapeutic services to victims of crime and juvenile justice involved youth. I am fully trained in TF-CBT, CBT, TI-CBTp, and PC-CARE. I am knowledgeable in DBT.
I identify as a first generation Latina, full-time working mom. Like many of you I wear many hats, both professionally and personally, which has helped me understand many of the challenges my clients have or are experiencing.
