I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years of experience. Currently, I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship problems, meaninglessness, and the residual impacts of past traumas. I do my best to acknowledge the many ways in which social, cultural, and economic inequities shape how we understand ourselves and interact with the world.
My primary focus as a therapist is to foster a space where you can be yourself. Where you can say or feel anything. I try to do this by listening, affirming, being curious, and collaborating with you to find a better way forward.
Therapy is about looking at problems and finding new ways to handle them. This can mean learning how to manage difficult moments, gaining self-knowledge, searching for meaning, healing from old wounds, or journeying towards a more authentic, fully-formed version of yourself.
