In my practice I specialize in relational therapy for couples, families, business partners and adult males. Couples relationships are comprised of two elements, companionship and intimacy. Whenever there are difficulties in either area, the benefits of the relationship suffer. This might be from recurrent communication issues, infidelity, sexual problems, finances, etc. Deepening the connection of companionship with the joy of intimacy will create the space for lifelong, transformative partnering.
Family therapy addresses lack of closeness, trauma, and life transitions. No one family member is responsible for difficulties, rather, all contribute. Every member does the best they can to function within the family system. Therapy shifts perception from blaming to understanding, thereby deepening the unique, satisfying connection that families enjoy.
I believe in meeting people where they are, accepting them and providing a non-judgmental place where they can be heard, understood, and respected. I am not out to fix people; rather to help them find their own paths to the quality of life they choose as their own.
