I start by listening to you, to hear why you want to be in counseling. What are your challenges, both today and yesterday, as you perceive relevance. From there, we discuss your goals for therapy. I help you with that as there are often intermediate steps we focus on first. Once we have the goals, I present an initial approach based on you.
