I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds as being bilingual and bi-cultural I relate well to diverse experiences and life transitions. My approach to therapy is based mainly on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Existential Psychotherapy. The goal of cognitive behavior therapy is to teach individuals that while they cannot control every aspect of the world around them, they can take control of how they interpret and deal with positive and negative situations in their environment.
At the same time, Existential Psychotherapy candidly confronts the realities of life such as death, meaninglessness, loss and suffering and works to promote positive experiences, relationships and emotions.
CBT and Existential Psychology are powerful tools that promote short-term and long-term well-being. These therapeutic approaches are commonly used to treat a wide range of disorders, including phobias, addictions, depression, anxiety, shame, guilt and other difficult emotions through honest self-evaluation.
