Trapped. Anxious. Worried. Out of Control. Done. You smile and participate in your daily activities, but really you’re just trying to get through the day. You have racing, intrusive thoughts that you cannot seem to ignore. You want to move forward. You want to work on these things, but a part of you cannot seem to stay on the horse. Perhaps your fear gives you a sense of comfort and routine, yet you know that this is unhealthy. Let’s gear up and battle this together. Are you ready?
I offer psychotherapy services that center around thought-stopping modalities, systematic desensitization, cognitive challenging, refocusing, and reframing, as well as the incorporation of DBT-skills. I completed part 1 of EMDR Training via ICM, therefore I am able to utilize the phases. The office has a lightbar with dual tappers.
As a counselor, I understand that our actions and perceptions are a synthesis of genetic, cerebral, subcultural, and even incorporeal facets. As a clinician having made these associations, I am better equipped to serve client needs.
