Maybe it has been a while since you have been able to take a deep breath and feel truly present. You know what you want out of life, but you feel stuck in the fear and pain from past experiences and it feels like history is repeating itself. Sometimes the past shows up in thoughts, other times it shows up in the form of overwhelm, low self-esteem, shame, or feeling like there is no room to make a mistake. At some point, you recognize that feeling this way is not sustainable and you want to take steps towards releasing some of these past burdens, taking in the present, and making space in the future to define who you want to be.
Together, we can take the time to understand the impact of these experiences and discover how you want to define your present and future. We will collaborate to build a space that feels right for you, so you have room to explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences. You know you better than anyone else, my role is to support you in your healing journey.
I work with high achieving adults who struggle with histories of adverse or traumatic experiences and may consequently struggle with shame, perfectionism, and self-esteem. When working with adults with a history of trauma or adverse experiences, my specialties include religious trauma or oppression, intergenerational trauma, and trauma from family of origin.
