It's my belief that people have many of their own answers, they just need the dedicated time and space to process and explore. I assist my clients in understanding and overcoming the challenges that they face day to day. Through a transparent and collaborative therapeutic relationship, I guide clients in honoring their needs and accomplishing their goals. Therapy can be a powerful tool in one’s mental health toolbox. My goal in therapy is for clients to feel empowered to use ALL of their tools including social support, health care, boundary-setting, well-managed medication, joyful movement, and effective communication.
I utilize an array of approaches with my clients in order to provide the most tailored care possible. These approaches include eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness. All of my work is trauma-informed and client-focused.
