I have been counseling individuals in Texas for 8 years. Some of the areas I provide counseling for are those struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, life stressors, work stressors, divorce and separation, anger management, impulse control, substance abuse and relapse prevention. Together with the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy we work on setting attainable goals and developing appropriate coping skills for triggers of those unwanted symptoms. Working together to eliminate these symptoms and develop a relapse prevention plan to prevent them from returning.
Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy I encourage patients to explore their personal reasons for wanting change in their lives. Together we identify goals that will inspire those changes. This allows for a collaborative relationship in which the patient is directly involved in their treatment and goal setting.
No issues are too big or too small to discuss in therapy. I'm here to offer you a safe and confidential space to express your thoughts and feelings and explore them without judgement.
