I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts. I have a background in the sciences (medical research), and changed careers 5 years ago, to help people on a more personal level. I use my knowledge of physical health to help people who struggle with chronic illness, and/or pain. I also have experience working with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, panic, social anxiety, and trauma.
My style is person centered, and solution focused. I strive to help people live their lives in a calm, empowered way, while gaining an understanding of how our thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected.
My intention is to maintain a comfortable listening space, to understand your challenges, and to work together on a plan for moving forward. I feel that overall health, mindfulness, and improving sleep can play a large part in improving mental health. I also try to incorporate laughter into my work….laughter is good medicine!
