She comes from a background in public health that identifies mental health as a public issue. The pandemic, mass shootings, political unrest and other traumas have left a lasting imprint on the entire world community.

Damaris’s therapeutic style is warm, interactive, and tailored to each client's needs. She uses a variety of treatment modalities with her clients including Motivational. Interviewing, CBT, and Strengths Based therapy. More importantly she creates a non-judgmental, and supportive space where clients can feel free to discuss the issues that face them.
