I love working with clients from all walks of life. In the comfort of your personal environment I offer judgement free feedback and guidance. I can assist you in negotiating the difficult terrain of life, be it mental illness, anger management, grief, difficult relationships or life transition. I specialize in midlife issues and I have a large network of referrals, including psychiatrists, in both Utah and Maryland. My response time is reasonable and I do my best to take the fear out of sharing with a professional . I am easy going and use appropriate humor and compassion. My sessions tend to be 55-60 minutes.
I am flexible in my treatment protocol. After discussing your needs we will create a therapy plan. I use cognitive behavioral tools that include homework and goal setting for clients who prefer those guidelines. If you need someone who will help process your feelings I will listen, support, assist, and challenge distorted thoughts to offer relief/progress.
