Founder of the Holistic Therapy Institute, Dr. Cynthia Yesko is an intuitive counselor & educator with the privilege of helping clients rework old stress and trauma patterns that can interfere with health and wellness into more updated patterns that help to navigate ordinary stressors and extraordinary challenges. She uses techniques such as music therapy (Dr. Porges' Safe & Sound Protocol), meditation, mindfulness, progressive relaxation, guided imagery, deep breathing, & Reiki to help reset the body’s natural relaxation response. In a regulated, state, solutions tend to present themselves and positive changes are abundant.
Dr. Yesko has 30+ years' experience working with trauma survivors as well as the first responders who help them. Specializations include: childhood sexual abuse/neglect, clergy abuse, betrayal trauma, accidents, suicide, & homicide. Dr. Yesko provides trauma consultation, grief counseling, and continuing education for first responder wellness.
Motivated by her faith that we all have a life-purpose, Dr. Yesko continuously seeks her own personal health and wellness so that she can continue to forge her healing path and then help others do the same. This prompted her to create the Stress Pattern Mapping (c) process to help others find a more empowering relationship with stress and trauma.

I help clients find connections between present-day triggers and past unresolved events. We create a new narrative that resolves the unresolved event and then use it to resolve the current trigger. While we do the work, I teach a mini-class on what happens to the brain, body, nervous system, spirit and relationships during stress, trauma & recovery, so that clients have tools to heal themselves.

I help you explore stress patterns to find present-day triggers that cause unwanted changes in you. I then help you determine if these changes make you feel as if an older unresolved event is reoccurring. If so, we map out an empowering solution for the unresolved event and imagine applying that same solution to the present-day trigger to resolve it. Then you write the steps you took to heal.
